Independently corroborated, word for word on the rate, by a SEPARATELY maintained document: content/sources/state-ml-2026-faq-agri.pdf (FAQsonAgricultureSchemes2025.pdf), "REGIONAL CENTRE FOR TRAINING AND PRODUCTION OF MUSHROOM", pattern of assistance: "Sale of Mushroom Spawn and compost at 50% subsidy." Neither FAQ document itself carries a date, GO number or signature -- but the underlying scheme they both describe is now independently established as real via three other documents (see the file-level comment above): a numbered, dated Government of Meghalaya press release (No.245/19, 30 May 2019) announcing the Mission's formal launch and a signed tripartite MOU; an official department-issued brochure ("Mission Mushroom 2018-2023") stating this exact scheme was "absorbed as a continuing State Plan Scheme"; and the department's own live crop-info page independently repeating the 1982 NEC-sanction origin story in different words. Not modelled here: (a) "Construction of compost shed - 50% assistance" -- a capital, not input, subsidy that would need its own rule with its own component (compostUnit) if a future pass wants to add it; (b) "Financial assistance to Mushroom growers @ Rs 30,000/- per unit" -- scoped in the source document to West Garo Hills' own District Horticulture Officer, read as a district-specific allocation rather than a state-wide entitlement, so not asserted as a state-wide figure here (understating rather than overstating).

Neither FAQ document's "Regional Centre for Training and Production of Mushroom" entry mentions MIDH by name or discusses stacking. Elsewhere in content/sources/state-ml-2026-faq-agri.pdf, under "II. CENTRALLY SPONSORED SCHEMES" > MIDH, a DIFFERENT pattern-of-assistance line reads "(iii) 40% assistance for Mushroom Cultivation & Bee Keeping" -- Meghalaya's own paraphrase of central MIDH's mushroom component, at a rate (40%) that conflicts with both this file's own 50% figure and MIDH's own Annexure V NE-Himalayan enhanced rate (also 50%; Meghalaya is classed 'neHimalayan' by this atlas's own area-class map). Likely an imprecise FAQ simplification rather than a genuine override, but flagged rather than silently reconciled. Recorded unconfirmed because this file's own evidence does not itself resolve the relationship between the state's Regional Centre scheme and central MIDH's mushroom Annexure V; that reconciliation belongs to MIDH's own record on this site, not to this one.
